Vira’s fate and survival

We have been affected by the fate of a 3-year-old child suffering from eye cancer whose survival depends largely on our commitment, and we are giving her hope with great financial support. In fact, the name Vira in Slavic language means “believe”, to believe in her future and in the goodness of humanity.

To avoid repetition, Vira underwent regular monthly checks. However, due to the Covid 19 pandemic and the closure, these examinations could not take place. In June 2020, Vira unfortunately had to urgently return to the hospital in Lausanne, where a severe relapse was diagnosed with a new tumor, again in the left eye.

Thanks to “Polo mit Herz” and the “Lions Club Montreux”, Vira could be operated on immediately and is now in recovery and alive.
