We look back with gratitude on our successful association event on 21 September 2023. Around 70 guests came together in the “Zunfthaus zur Haue”, including the well-known Swiss national coach, Murat Yakin, who is already strongly committed to children and young people with his own foundation. He surprised the mother M. A. of the affected Sebastian, who was also a guest, with a national team jersey of captain Granit Xhaka. Sebastian beat the battle against his brain tumour 4 years ago. <\/p>\n\n

The presentation by Prof. Dr. med. Matthias Kopp, Head of the Children’s Hospital Bern and Dr. Hans- Ulrich Bender, Senior Physician Palliative Medicine Bern showed how difficult the diagnosis of cancer is for children and those affected and what seriously ill children as well as their siblings and parents need during and after therapy. <\/p>\n\n

Culinary treats included the traditional Keller Bratwurst and the 100-year-old Gold-B\u00fcrli, as well as delicacies from the “Haue”. <\/p>\n\n

People often forget what being healthy really means. –<\/p>\n\n
